Persons who believe that they have been treated differently because of their protected class in their employment, where the employer employs 15 persons or more and the discrimination act occurred within 180 days.

The charge will be assigned to an Investigator who will gather and review information. The Investigator may interview witnesses, conduct on-site visits and use other means to make certain that a complete investigation is made.

Basis to file a charge / complaint regarding Employment Discrimination

It is determined through a process of steps. The first step in this process is completion of an Intake Questionnaire . This Questionnaire may be completed before or during interview. A determination will then be made whether any statute enforced by EEOC applies. The same form may also be used to file and Ordinance charge.
