Capital Metro is the regional public transportation provider for the Austin metropolitan area.
The Capital Area Rural Transportation System (CARTS) bus system covers nine counties in and around Austin and may be able to get you where you need to go, even if you live in a rural area. If you are on Medicaid, you are qualified to ride free.
